Two beliefs
I have no power over my life and cannot change anything. A weakening belief. It says you have no say in how your life goes, and that you may as well forget your goals.
I can change my life as I wish and achieve what I desire. An empowering one. It says you can reach what you dream of, and it fills you with the will to act.
Which would you choose?
Ask yourself honestly: which of these two excites you, and which one is depressing? Which would you rather hold? Which do you choose?
And if one possibility is exciting and the other is depressing, what would make anyone choose the second? People do choose it — by convincing themselves that it is simply reality, that this is how things are. But you are not obliged to submit to your fears and your insecurities. You are free to hold your wildest dreams and your wildest goals as your true values.
A master of belief
A master is someone who uses belief as a tool: adopting what strengthens them, dismantling what weakens them. Letting yourself believe that you can change your reality is the first step towards magick.
