Rune magick is a powerful tool, and that’s why it can also harm you if you use it without safety measures.

This is why I share powerful runic staves only on my course where I teach to use them safely.

Like a knife, you can use it to cut bread, or cut a rope, but also you can accidentally cut your hand if you are not careful.

Not knowing the runes

The main danger of runes is activating runes that you don’t understand. 

The runes that you activate can have a harmful effect. When you activate the runes, you must understand each rune in the formula, bindrune or a stave that you are activating.

Firstly you must understand and know the runes, not just memorize the meaning of the rune, but have a deep intuitive understanding of each rune. 

That is done by working with each rune for some time until you really understand the rune. 

Using rune staves from internet

Another potential danger is activating rune staves that you found on the internet, even if the description says that the rune stave is safe. 

You don’t know with what intention the rune stave was created, it is possible that the rune stave is a hidden energy stealer, or something in that manner.

To avoid harm from such things, best is to choose popular runic staves that have a lot of user reviews.

Another thing is to use rune divination to check if the runic stave is safe for you.

Doing black magick

Another danger of rune magic is if you try to do black magick. 

If you are activating a black magick runic stave to harm someone else, it is activated with your attention and your energy, that means that the effects will also happen to you.

Using rune magick safely

On my Rune Magick Course we do the practice known as “living the runes” during which we work with each rune for 1 week and gain a deep understanding of the rune. 

Also, we learn how to perform runic divination so we can check the runic staves, if it would be safe to use.
